Our guide, Peter, and the driver, Ferdinand, really made the trip a wonderful experience! I was pleased that not only did we see sites from the Sound of Music, but as we drove through the town, they gave a little bit of Salzburg history as well. We also took a trip that I did not expect up into the mountains to a couple of beautiful lakes!! It was a lovely Tour. The only negative is it is tough to see some of the things they point out from inside the bus. I would definitely suggest sitting on the side behind the bus driver lol! It seemed like everything was “to the left, to the left.”

Probably should have read some of the other reviews, as we didn't realize how little we would actually see on this tour. The tour guide and bus were fantastic, but if you're expecting to see the rolling meadows, Von Trapp house, original gazebo, concert hall or abbey, you'll be disappointed. It's not their fault, it's just what's accessible and real, and sadly it isn't much. Also, we felt extremely rushed the entire time. One of the stops was literally 2 minutes. Still saw some nice scenery and learned a lot about the movie, so not a total waste.

Bus tour to many Sound of Music sites. We are a pretty active couple, so this was a departure from our normal... probably too sedentary for us. Our guide gave good explanation of the Salzburg area and its relation to Sound of Music, but nothing over the top.

Its all good fun and lovers of the movie will have the greatest time. You’ll see all the famous sites as seen in the movie itself, and also get to practice your singing skills

This was such an enjoyable trip! Ferdinand our driver and Simon our guide did an outstanding job! They were both witty and engaging from the start, sharing plenty of information not only from the Musical, but also the town and area around it. Driving around Salzburg in just a car is not easy, but Ferdinand made it look easy in a bus! He is obviously a talented professional who kept us safe. The knowledge that Simon passed along through-out the trip, not just at various filming locations was very colorful. They helped us all save time by telling us the best places to shop and eat as well as what to get pictures of and what not to bother with. We were blessed to have taken the tour with these two men. They make Panoramic Tours look good! I’d go back to Salzburg and do it all over again.
