Discover St Maarten’s one-of-a-kind underwater sculpture park, Under SXM, with the people who know it best — the creators, builders, and owners of the park itself. This 2-hour adventure begins with a short scenic 10 minute boat ride from Great Bay to Little Bay, where over 300 sculptures transform the seafloor into a breathtaking gallery teeming with marine life.
Your expert guide will join you in the water, sharing insider stories about the design, build, and installation of the park, while also pointing out fascinating sea life along the way. Snorkel gear and safety floats are provided, and optional digital underwater photos can be purchased onboard to capture your memories.
With three tours daily at 9am, 11.30am & 2pm and a meeting point just a 10-15 minute walk from the cruise ship terminal, this experience is designed to be easy, memorable, and stress-free. We guarantee you’ll always be back to your cruise ship or your sun lounger on time.

Our snorkel spot location - 300 artificial reef sculptures celebrating the history and culture of St Maarten. These sculptures are at a depth of 15 feet below you, allowing our guests to float simply above and watch the marine life below.

5.00Nice unique snorkel experience. Easy to get to. Nice boat. Go early, we only had 6 on boat. Very interested aray of sculptures. Some fish in area. No seaweed!

5.00Wonderful, well run, informational and fun tour. The statues are really cool and the fish are a bonus. 300 underwater statues show you the history of the island and the guides do a great job of pointing out things of interest . Derek and Tyrell(?) did a great job. Highly recommend.

5.00This was my husband and I's first time snorkeling. It went a bit rough due to inexperience, however, I still had a great time and finally got the gist of the snorkeling device. Saw lots of fish but it was very hard to see the statues the day we went. We were spoken to a bit disrespectfully by the guy waiting for us at the meeting point. We got there 25 minutes early but weren't really sure where to meet them. So, we just sat at the restaurant in full view of the statues. We received a text from him at 11:29 and went right to him. He said we should've been there and we could just leave you. I had words back with him because, you get what you give; however, I did not let that stop me from enjoying the experience. A text at 11:20 would have been your better bet. Then, you wouldn't have had to be a butt about it as we were right there already. We just didn't know who or what to look for. Despite the rude introduction, I would definitely recommend it.

5.00I absolutely recommend this tour! We scheduled this as a cruise excursion while at port and everything went very smoothly. There weren't too many people and the crew was awesome! Very knowledgeable and helpful and the equipment was in great shape! The statues were incredible and clearly visible and my phone's pictures don't do them justice. We'll definitely do this snorkel again when we return.
