Our tour with Sylvia was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. We joined a small group of approximately 10 people all together and had the most wonderful experience. Sylvia's knowledge of Romanian history and Bucharest was outstanding and we really felt like we were walking through decades of life in the city and understanding the realities of Communism for Romanian people. I think when you arrive as a tourist, it's easy to miss the remnants of the very brutal regime and the impact on everyday people, but we have definitely been left with a greater appreciation for this. The tour was approximately 3 hours long, with a lovely coffee break in the middle, but we honestly could have listened to Sylvia for many more hours as she is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about this. The tour was very reasonably priced for the level of service and expertise shown by Sylvia, and I would definitely recommend it for friends, families and couples - essentially anyone who is visiting Bucharest, this is a must-do experience. 5 ⭐

Our guide was Octavian and we were in a group of 7. It was a very interesting tour and told the history of Romania since the First World War. He showed us some interesting sights and told us a lot about the rise and fall of communism. He had a folder with some images from the past etc. I would definitely recommend the tour. 3 hours walking around the central important sites. Short break for a drink mid way.
