San Pedro de Atacama
The tour begins with the pick-up of passengers at the accommodation, this usually takes approximately 30 minutes, then we will move to our facilities about 7km outside of San Pedro where our guide will wait for them.
We will give you a brief welcome talk and take souvenir photographs. It is very important to come with warm, light-colored clothing. Afterwards we will have a short talk about astronomy related to star formation and the use of telescopes. Finally, we will use the 14-inch telescopes to discover the universe, where you can enjoy, depending on the date of your trip, different types of stars, nebulae, planets and other objects that will leave you speechless.

Breathtakingly stunning! Who knew there were other galaxies, let alone get to see into them. Wonderful hosts and very informative. Must do - best thing to do in Chile!

This was a fantastic experience! Jhonatan was the best guide - his passion for astronomy and conserving the planet was truly inspiring and made the experience even more special and meaningful 🥹 I will never forget seeing the rings of Saturn in the telescope for the first time! Truly a once in a lifetime experience. Worth every penny. Thank you Jhonatan!!!!!

Amazing experience. You can tell the guide loves what he does. It makes one feel excited. It's very cold. Beautiful view. I recommend going 10/10. I'd do this again.

"The Roofless" is a very well curated small group experience. Whether you're interest is primarily getting a great photograph of the stars, a thoughtful explanation of the constallations or some up close experience with one of the two powerful telescopes used to examine the sky - you won't be disappointed. Add to all of it a nice glass of wine (or tea, coffee or hot chocolate), a variety of tasty nibbles and warm cozy blanket and you have the total package for a memorable evening gazing at the incomparable Chilean desert sky.

Amazing experience! Our favorite tour in San Pedro de Atacama (we booked 4 total). They limit to max 12 people, and have 2 telescopes so you get plenty of viewing time. Tour included professional photos, a glass of wine, and charcuterie board. Also had blankets. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate.

Really a great experience. It's clear that Jhonatan and his team have a huge passion for astronomy. He did a great job explaining everything that we were seeing in the sky and making sure everyone was included. A really fun night!
