A Tropical Treasure Hunt is a brand new and immersive experience that allows you and your loved ones to experience an engaging hunt for buried treasure on the beautiful island of Saint Thomas, USVI. You will attempt to solve mentally stimulating challenges in order to find each piece of the treasure map at each new location you visit. This experience will give you an opportunity to dig up a real treasure chest at one of St Thomas's beautiful beaches. Additionally, the Tropical Treasure Hunt will lead you to the Pirates Treasure Museum to learn about St Thomas and pirate history while solving challenges inside.
We also offer clients the opportunity to purchase various treasures that will be waiting for you in the treasure chest. We offer a wide variety of Caribbean and authentic ship wreck jewelry. Please call us to learn of various options and prices to include as your treasure.

What To Expect
Pirates Treasure Museum
Our clients get an opportunity to experience the high quality and interactive Pirates Treasure Museum. They will learn about US Virgin Islands and pirate history while searching for clues to their next location. Treasure Hunters will also enjoy exploring Havensight to find clues including a popular coffee shop where you are welcome to purchase quick order food items or souvenirs. Then your crew will have private transportation to one of the beautiful beaches on St Thomas. Part of the fun is figuring out where you will be heading to next throughout the adventure. You will have approximately an hour at the beach to find the buried treasure and enjoy the beach or beach bar.

5.00This was a blast! Amazing sights, a fun narrative, multiple locations with tangible things to do/figure out, and problems to solve. It was a roughly 6-7 hour excursion we booked on our cruise, and it did not disappoint at all. Anthony, Vally, and the other staff were great. Sean was great to listen to as we got real world stories of treasure hunting with relevant tidbits on top of informative history. All around a great adventure with beautiful locations, food/drink included, and an engaging series of activities. Worth every penny and would do again in a heartbeat!

5.00This was the best shore excursion we've ever done. It was a small group and loads of great service. Everyone from Rich picking us up at the port to the Pirates on the beach was fabulous. Think of this trip as an escape room but driving around St. Thomas. We went with our 10 uear old son, and it was a great fit. Love love love!!!

5.00Booked the Salty Pirate Adventure for my birthday and had a blast! After a briefing we searched for clues in Bluebeards castle (and got a private tour) before heading out on the water for a real carribean adventure! We searched for clues on STJ that led us to the ultimate treasure back on STT. We had a wonderful time. Thanks Benjamin, Anthony and Capt Val!

5.00What a marvelous adventure we had on the Magic Portal Treasure Hunt to celebrate a 9th birthday! We've been residents of St Thomas for many years and have seen & done most of what the island has to offer... so it was a DELIGHT to discover an experience for the kids to work together solving the mysteries, learn about pirate history, and have a fun beach experience that they'd never had! The whole experience was so cleverly & well-organized... Anthony was very helpful in setting up our experience, Richie was an excellent guide, and Pirate C added such humor & fun to the experience! Highly recommend a treasure hunt on your visit to St Thomas!

5.00From booking to getting us back to the ship, this experience was a 10+! The owner, Anthony, was a pleasure to work with and so reliable and responsive to all our questions while booking. Our guide, Jake, met us promptly and filled our brains with just enough interesting facts about pirates and their role on the islands to make us feel our totally fun time was also a little educational. The pirate museum was really interesting and I think we would have missed so much if we'd visited on our own. Even the gentleman running the gift shop was delightful and entertaining with fabulous pirates stories. The price of admission, by the way, is covered by The Tropical Treasure Hunt Co. Eventually, we were driven by Mac to a beautiful beach that was far enough away to escape the cruise ship crowds and we were treated to some island libations after solving our mystery. Overall an absolutely wonderful adventure and totally worth the price (private guide, fabulous adventure, museum admission, a ride to and from a beautiful beach and tasty drinks). Highly, highly recommend!

5.00I loved the challenge combined with a tour of a bit of the island. The drinks didn't hurt either 😁. The level of difficulty of the puzzles was perfect for a mix of abilities. Anthony, the owner, was hands on making sure everything went smoothly.
