This tour was amazing and it was made even better by our tour guide Fiona. She was a local and truly knew the history of the area and even was a good singer. She sang us a Gaelic song at the Culledon Battlefield memorial. We saw 2 castles and took the boat on Loch Ness to look for Nessie. Fiona took care of everything for us and kept everyone on schedule and rounded up. We had a return time of 4:30 and literally arrived back at 4:29! Definitely would recommend this tour especially if Fiona does it!

What an awesome tour! And even more awesome was Fiona our tour guide! She gave us invaluable insights and clear directions took care of everything and even gave us some snacks and did a raffle! She even sang to us in Gaelic. We saw 2 castles, Loch Ness and the battelfield, while learning each step of the way. Would definitely recommend this tour especially with Fiona!!!

We were a group of 18 traveling on a cruise ship to Iceland with Ireland and Scotland as a bonus. I was the group leader. Most of our tours were private. I was privately hoping Fiona was our guide and not only did we get Fiona but we got her Beautiful daughter as well. There aren't enough stars for this tour. It was over the top and quickly a Favorite of our entire group. The transportation was awesome and Fiona's love of Scotland along with our history lesson were out of this world! The cruise over the Loch Ness was awesome and the fact Gavin booked everything ahead of time made it so easy as a group leader! Keep doing what you are doing guys! You are Amazing!!!!!!!

Perfect tour day with Fiona! She was so knowledgeable, kind and the wee treaties were an added surprise. All the sites were amazing and the visit to Culloden was very moving

Fantastic tour! Out of the 3 tours we took in Scotland, this was my favorite. Fiona, our guide, was informative and entertaining. We had the added bonus of having Jason, a bagpipe player on the bus with us. They both told personal stories, and told us about the areas we were traveling thru from their perspective. I loved it!

We were very pleased with the tour. Stopped at Lock Ness for a tour of Urquhart Castle followed by a 1 hr boat tour on the lake. Then went to Cawdor Castle for a tour and finally Culloden Battlefield. Gavin always replied to any questions I had before booking. Were on Regal Princess cruise and they picked us up and dropped us off at the cruise port (actually the shuttle bus stop from the ship).

This was a fabulous tour! Despite the Port of Invergordon being unprepared and making it somewhat difficult for guests from Regal Princess to get on the shuttles to our independent tour buses, Gavin was able to herd everyone onto the bus (albeit with help from a little shot of whiskey) and our guide Fiona was able to make sure that we were one of the first buses on our way. Loved the beautiful scenery, Cawdor Castle and the Loch Ness cruise. Fiona was wonderful and funny and even sang for us at the very moving Culloden. We finished with a whiskey toast and a relaxing ride back to the ship on time. Highly recommend!

We scheduled this excursion mainly because we wanted to see Loch Ness. It was a great decision! The tour left right out of our cruise ship terminal. We enjoyed the ride through the beautiful Scottish Highlands and our tour guide Fiona was awesome! We loved seeing the Urquhart Castle (though I don't recommend watching the ten minute film in the visitor center since it took away time to visit the castle). The boat cruise on Loch Ness was outstanding (saw so much scenery)! We also enjoyed our time at Cawdor Castle and our lunch (ordered ahead). The end of the tour at Culloden Battlefield was a nice historical perspective. Fiona even did a whiskey toast and Gaelic singing. I highly recommend this tour!

Fabulous tour of the Scottish Highlands! Our tour guide, Fiona, was very knowledgeable about this region, and rightfully proud of her heritage. Loved the cruise on Loch Ness and learned a great deal about the Battle of Culloden. Much better and cheaper excursion than our ship offered.

An amazing day in late September....weather was fabulous, guide was fantastic and tour was well planned with great itinerary. Beautiful Cawdor Castle looking at its best in beautiful sunshine...gardens although past their flowering best provided an interesting walk and the walk round the interior was a welcome intimate exploration compared to some larger castles Culloden Battlefield provided a wonderful insight into that time in Scottish history and was wonderfully explained by our guide. The beautiful weather contributed to a great experience Off to Dochgarroch next to join a Jacobite Cruise down Loch Ness ....stunning weather showing the Loch and surrounding mountains at their best. I sat upstairs on an outdoor seat making the most of a wonderful trip. Sailed down to Urquhart Castle, sitting on edge of the Loch which although only partly existing was a fantastic viewpoint for the surrounding land and water. Picked up by coach for the return trip to ship in Invergordon taking a different route back via Beauly A fantastic day enjoyed by everyone which l would highly recommend. I do appreciate we had the most amazing weather but still a great trip even if weather more seasonally normal
