What To Expect

Have a VIP experience for a small group and travel with us to the northernmost fishing village in the world. On the scenic route we make stops so you can enjoy the arctic nature & the reindeer. This trip shows you the highlights of our arctic island such as Sami camps, dried stock fish, and the fjords As we guide you around Nordvågen village and its fish factory, you get an impression of the life of our fishermen in a village so remote. There you will also have a unique opportunity to see live King Crab in sea water aquarium and maybe even observe live processing of the catch in the fish factory. After, we take you to the one and only North Cape we will celebrate this journey with sparkling wine and a certificate to remember this experience. We give you a short introduction to the cape and its highlights before you go explore. Our private transport returns you over the mountain to Honningsvag.

We took this tour while visiting Honningsvag on a cruise ship. It was great. There were several ships so the port area was crowded. When we got off, we found the reps from North Cape Experience just adjacent to our ship with their vans waiting. There were only 4 in our group. We visited a fish farm, which was very interesting, stopped at the Sami farm, and went to the North Cape. Our guide was excellent.....he was personable and informative. The visit to North Cape was very easy. Our guide had our tickets so we walked right in. He stayed with us, provided commentary, and took pictures for us. We had a little bit of free time before we returned to the port. This was the best possible way we could have done North Cape. North Cape Experience is very well organized and is a far better option than the big bus trips. We highly recommend

Our guide Karl was very knowledgeable and our driver also. They could not have made the day any more enjoyable and it was worth every penny. It was varied and we saw a lot of the area.

The trip was good in the small van with our English speaking guide. Trying to accommodate all on our trip. Good information at the fish factory. We enjoyed our champagne at the North Cape but would have like to get a better photo of the wild Reindeer. Our visit to the Sami village was good even though very cold. We couldn’t get close to the reindeer. Our guide shared good knowledge of the area.

Yeah, good! A welcome and explanations throughout the excursion (rare enough to specify we were lucky to have a Belgian franco guide) Everything was perfect , photo stops, king crab , ... exceptional day! We had the best time with Jonathan, who took us to the North Cape and Skarsvag. We enjoyed seeing the beautiful landscape but without Jonathan's explanations and information about the area and life in such a unique place it would have been half as great. I can only recommend going on a tour with him and his team. Thanks, Jonathan for an unforgettable experience!
