We only serve alcoholic drinks for participants of 18 years old and above. Minor participants below 18 years old will be served non-alcoholic drinks.

The workshop is in English as people from all over the world participate. Our hosts can translate some parts if necessary.

What To Expect

1) Belgian Beer Tasting: We’ll kick off the experience with a delightful beer tasting session. You’ll sample three different varieties of Belgian beer, accompanied by intriguing background information about each selection. From these, you’ll choose one beer to incorporate into your waffle batter. 2) Belgian/Brussels Waffle Baking Class: Next, you’ll partner up at a cooking station (two people per station) to create your own waffle batter using the beer you selected. Our team will guide you step by step through the waffle-making process, ensuring you master the art of crafting the perfect batter. 3) Food Pairing and Tasting: Finally, you’ll have the opportunity to bake your own Brussels waffles and enjoy them with the perfect toppings, along with the beer you chose earlier in the session. Feel free to bake and savor as many waffles as you like! To top it all off, you’ll receive the recipe so you can recreate this delicious experience at home.

Our guide/ instructor, Francine was fabulous. She knew so much about Brussels. Not only do you make and eat waffles but you learn about, and get to drink local beers. The waffles are delicious ! Go hungry.

An excellent afternoon at Waffles ‘n Beer in Brussels. We got the chance to make our own batter (taught by the brilliant Ezra), enough to make 10-12 waffles. We also got to try a few beers along the way, whilst also including our favourite in the batter. Beers are also free flowing throughout the experience. Very good value for money, and an excellent experience overall.

My husband and I really enjoyed our experience with Waffles N Beer. We started our visit with a mini beer lesson and trying the beer. Making waffles was fun and not overly challenging which made it very relaxing. Eating the hot fresh waffles with a variety of toppings plus drinking beer was the perfect activity for us!

We had so much fun trying the different beers and learning to make delicious Belgium waffles! Im not a beer drinker, but the beer we tasted was delicious. Our host was fun and funny and the waffles.... tasty! I cannot wait to make these waffles for my friends and family on e back in the states.

Who would have thought that waffles and beer go so great together. Even more so when you use beer was a substitute for water in the batter! Plus you get to go home with the best waffle recipe that I’ve ever used… super light and delicious with just about anything you want to pair with it!
