What To Expect
Our tour starts in Eyre Square in Galway City Centre. Listen as your guide tells you stories about Eyre Square, the (seemingly) random doorway which was once the gateway to the park, Galway's link to a famous US president and learn about the flagpoles that adorn the north side of the square.
The Browne Doorway
Listen to the tales of the Tribes of Galway, one of which was the Browne family, who's doorway now sits in Eyre Square

5.00We enjoyed our walking tour of Galway with Conor. It was well-paced and gave us a good overview of the city. Conor was training another guide and gave him opportunities to lead some of the tour. The tour ends at the Galway Museum, which we also highly recommend. Galway is a small, walkable city and this is a great way to get your bearings!

5.00Our guide was lovely and we got a chance to view some of Galways interesting historical points. The walking tour gave us some bearing on where things were and what places we may want to see after the tour’s conclusion. My wife and I were the only two people on the tour but that did not stop our guide from making small talk and cutting through the awkwardness of not touring with a large group. We would recommend this tour to any one who is from out of town.

5.00Excellant walking tour, Nina was a lovely and very knowledgeable guide, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We didn't feel rushed and she even pointed out nice places for coffee/lunch.
