The Witches Tour

We will unmask and trial two witches EXACTLY as they would have been trialled back in the 1600s (well we won't kill them but you know what i mean)
Follow the trail of tears and heart-breaking cries to the different points in town where the trials were held. Witness the debauchery and torture as it would have been (i promise i won't hurt anyone for real though, unless you ask me to?? )
You will also find out about some little known points of history en route.

What To Expect
Elgin Cathedral
After leaving the Wee Cross (1 High Street, Elgin) We will then walk to Elgin Cathedral and gather outside the gates to begin the Witches Trial.

5.00After a delayed start, waiting for some people that had booked but didnt turn up, we were treated to a very interesting and informative tour, our eloquently dressed lady tour guide has amazing local knowledge, we thoroughly enjoyed this tour, the lady leading the tour is highly entertaining, very approachable & incredibly knowledgeable. I had attended this tour previously, a few years ago, but really enjoyed the new areas that have been added, it was a great refresher course... Thank you. Laura

5.00Went on the Witches Tour on a Friday night, the tour was extremely well done with lots of historical facts and stories as well as plenty of notable stops around Elgin, Our guide made the tour a great experience with her local knowledge and story telling ability. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend.

5.00Very interesting and informative tour. Lynda is an absolute minefield of information about Elgin's history and the sad story of the fate of the so-called witches. We thoroughly enjoyed it and next time we're up that way we will definitely book a ghost tour.
