Instead of spending a whole day on the cruise, you can spend a great day on the Great Wall of China. You can choose to be dropped off in Beijing city or back to the Tianjin Port according to your schedule. Your friendly English speaking driver will meet you at Tianjin port and transfer to Mutianyu Great Wall safely. After the trip, you will be dropped off at Beijing railway station and take the bullet train back to Tianjin. Meet your driver from Tianjin at Tianjin railway station and transfer back to cruise port.

One-way first class bullet train ticket, entrance fee, private transfer are included.

What To Expect

Tianjin International Cruise Port

Upon arrival at Tianjin International Cruise Home Port, your friendly driver will meet you outside of the baggage claim area with your name as a sign.

Mutianyu Great Wall

Then, you will take an air-conditioned and comfort private vehicle to make a roughly 3 hours journey to the Mutianyu Great Wall in Beijing. The Mutianyu Great Wall is a little further from downtown Beijing, regarded the most beautiful section. It is connected with Jiankou in the west and Lianhuachi in the east. As one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, the Mutianyu section used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. You have the choice of taking a round-trip cable car ride to the wall, or taking the chairlift and return via the downhill toboggan run. Then, enjoy two to three hours on the wall independently. If you choose tour ends Beijing, you will be transferred to your Beijing hotel(at your own arrangement) after the tour.

We had a great tour. Our guide was Kevin. He worked really hard to insure that we had a good time. And we did. I highly recommend this tour. They really cared about us. The Great Wall can’t be accurately described in words. You just have to see it. We spent two hours walking on it. We planned for one. There is too much to see. Kevin didn’t miss a beat. He was just happy for us. Great tour! Kevin was the best guide we can imagine.

As we had a quite limited time after disembarkation Kevin did everything to make this tour happen as well as he went an extra mile by taking us to Kung Fu theatre after the Wall which I recommend to everyone. So thanks a lot to the tour company and Kevin for such an unforgettable trip!

We booked this tour online and had Kevin as our driver.He met us at the Port,drove to Mutianyu Great Wall directly,he even brought bananas for us.When we arrived the Wall,he show us where and how to go,where he will wait for us. The Wall is amazing,Kevin is super.

We dock at Tianjin Port on March 24 and from there we took this excursion to Mutianyu Great Wall. We were very lucky to have Kevin as our driver since he can answer whatever question I ask him. He is very accommodating and efficiently brought us to our hotel in Beijing. I will give him 5 stars for his job which was well done.
