We will meet in the square, from there we will start a trail that passes through the largest waterfall in the forest, with 60 meters. From there we will also pass by the visitor center and continue to the viewpoint of Cascatinha, where you have an incredible view of the forest, then we end with a waterfall bath!

This is a great walk through Tijuca National Park. We saw monkeys, lizards, a guaximin, a turtle, frogs, tarantulas, and brightly-colored insects. Most of the trail is shady. It begins with a waterfall and ends with a small waterfall you can go under. The guide was excellent. We had a great time. (This is often described as an easy hike, but most of the trail is on an incline that is frequently steep. If you have trouble with stairs, etc., this would not be appropriate. Also, this is not a loop, so be prepared to turn around once you reach the end.)
