Tikal National Park

8:00 AM Road trip to Tikal National Park, arpoximately 1hr 20 min. On the way you will be able to see the lake, and the artisan village known as El Remate. Upon Arrival begins the walk with the Tikal Adventures guide. it take 3 or 4 hours. We will walk approximately 6 to 8 kilometers during this tour, but not consecutively. The longest walk between two stops is approximately 20 minutes.

We had the most amazing day in Tikal. Our guide, Kendel, was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable, patient, and helpful throughout the entire experience. He answered all of our questions, gave amazing insights into the plants, wildlife, and ruins within the park, and helped our family of five make lifetime memories. I could not recommend him and this privately guided experience enough!

We had two fabulous days with Kendal touring both Tikal and Yaxha. He’s very well read about the sites and Mayan culture and the amazing natural resources of the jungle. Combine this with a huge amount of enthusiasm and friendly humour and a great experience is the result. A shout out also for our driver to Yaxha, Eduardo, who ensured we hardly noticed that half the road has gone missing!

our guide Celvin and driver Hans were at the airport right on time, a very good start. breakfast stop was delicious and pleasant. ride was comfortable. the ruins are just memorable and stunning, have to see it with your own eyes. lunch spot was nice. the tour was made especially memorable thanks to Celvin's knowledge, stories, and catering to our needs. thank you.
