1. 1.5 hours before tour even began 2. Tour guide Christina was beyond rude 3. Tour guide hardly spoke in English, even when requested to 4. Tour guide repeated herself and poorly informed. 5. Tour with same company for the following day was cancelled in less than 24 hours. 6. Customer "services" made excuses via WhatsApp for the poor experience, never apologized and failed to offer any reimbursement. And now I shall expand. 1. I do not want to wake up at 6 am with a teenager on holiday. But that’s what LCT Europe made us do: we were first on their 1-and-a- half-hour pick up point for the passengers at all the other hotel stops. Then we all caught a connection at some hub. They maximised passenger numbers at the cost of our time. 2. Who does Christina think she is? She went on to insult passengers asking for places to sit whilst eating their prepared lunch. “I don’t know if you can sit in the restaurant: I don’t own it!” was one response. Further scolding of tourists who used the bathroom at a spot which was inconvenient to her. Since she is in charge, then surely she tells us CLEARLY what is the toilet schedule instead of having a 5 minute tirade of “why are you not listening to me?!” It totally cut the fun from the visit. 3. I hardly understood the tour! I asked Christina first opportunity if she could include more English as she was switching mostly between Spanish and German. In a loud, irritable tone, she claimed she was speaking English. None of the other English speaking passengers thought so. Christina’s English is broken and takes some effort to understand. She attempted to address my reasonable request by switching on a tape cassette in the coach. It got stuck after 10 seconds. 4. Her knowledge of the cave was abysmal. This was the highlight of the tour. I was expecting stories, history, wars, light hearted anecdotes. I got lots of repetition some of it plain wrong. The most obvious question wasn't even answered until I got back to my hotel room. Why is the zilch vegetation on the volcano? Why does it look like another planet. Pointing at walls with her torch, she pointed out “calcium” Calcium, my dear, is a shiny , silvery metal which is not naturally occurring. I think she meant calcium carbonate or limestone or marble. Not ACTUAL calcium. I was more informed about what we had visited once I returned to some wifi and read Wiki. That’s what I had paid LCT to do. My daughter and I were so *bored* we fell asleep. Christina talked incessantly, almost shrieking, but hardly any of it was in English! 5. Whilst on the actual tour, I was sent a message from the same company that the tour I had booked with them the following day gad been cancelled due to low passenger numbers! I had virtually zero wifi and by the time the abysmal tour was finished (5pm) I would be back at the hotel with no time to replace that activity with another. Christina loudly approached us at the end of the tour as if she was expecting a tip! 6. By this time, I was so mad, I contacted the company whilst on the trip making a complaint. No one picked up the Whatsapp call. So I had to write my complaint taking a long time. There followed a number of whatsapp messages all of which culminated in a response saying I had to rewrite my complaint in an email! Why? Surely you know what I’m complaining about without having to repeat myself. Email sent, at more expenditure of time. No one called. No one came to speak to me. And no one apologised. And no one offered any compensation. LCT got paid and that’s all they cared about. Not their reputation. But their greed. All I got was lots of excuses hidden behind a keyboard and a screen and I expect same excuses to be repeated in the reply below The story changed because the hotel mentioned that LCT had abandoned trip due to weather. Oh really?! Because my weather app forecasted 18C and sun all day. The ladies at my hotel (Dreams) were so lovely compared to you lot. Shameful tour!

Yes, it was a good experience especially viewing through the coach window was excellent rather car. If you travel by car you may miss proper visibility than coach. I highly recommend this trip. Coach driver and guides were excellent.

I don't understand why this tour had good reviews, which led me to book. Tour guide was awful and the whole thing was presented in the least interesting manner possible. Disappointed.

We loved the experience: the guide was very friendly, everything was well organized and you noticed a lot of responsibility from the team. We had a very good day.

This was a brilliant tour of the highlights of the island. Our guide was Christina and she was interesting, knowledgeable and took good care of us throughout the day. Even the visit to the beautiful town of Yaiza in the South as part of the pick-up run was worth it in itself, even though not really a part of the tour as such - bonus! Timanfaya was spectacular as were the Cuevas de los Verdes - my favourite of the day - where our tour guide took us on a walk through the caves with commentary and (pleasant) surprises! Jameos del Agua was stunning and a great place for a cheeky glass of wine at the end of the trip. Lunch was at Haira and at €15pp for a buffet lunch (which was very tasty) and wine it was great value. Arrangements were on-plan, including the pick off for us at Playa Roca bang on time. Highly recommend this trip - it’s a great way to see the sights of Lanzarote.

Juan Carlos is an excellent and cheery guide. Quite a bit of time on the coach which was comfortable with good air-conditioning. Take advantage of the delicious buffet lunch for 15 euros, very good value for money

Picked up at the right spot in playa honda at the agreed time, lovely greeting by the tour guide and driver. These two were amazing throughout the whole day. Totally professional day and also amazing. Lunch was worth spending the extra money on. Don't hesitate to book.
