Absolutely Terrible Service – Avoid Epic Tours

1.00Booked the Sarandë, Ksamil, Blue Eye & Vjosa River tour via TripAdvisor for 27th May with Epic Tours, only to be told it was “fully booked” despite confirmation. We were moved to the next day, then informed again that this was also full. We were then shifted to a Montenegro tour, which was ultimately cancelled at 4:00am on the morning of departure, just over an hour before pickup via WhatsApp message from John. Communication was consistently poor, with repeated chasing required for basic updates. The company showed no accountability, and the representative- John dismissed concerns by saying this “always happens” and comparing it to airline issues, without any real apology or responsibility. Overall, the experience was chaotic, unreliable, and extremely unprofessional, resulting in two wasted days of our holiday. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company, or to book with caution and be aware that cancellations and last-minute changes may occur.

1.00Beware of misleading pick-up time options displayed! When choosing this tour we opted for a latest of 3 displayed pick-up time and submitted our departing city. Got confirmation stating that time, do we hsd no reason to believe we'll have a problem. How wrong we were! Ended up paying for a tour upfront which we could not participate in the end. App. 8 hours before the start of the tour we got a note that we should be in a pick-up point 80 minutes ( ~1,5 hours) earlier than was confirmed to us! At 6 am, instead of 7.20 am. With such a sort notice even cancelling was not an option anymore. Got some help from the booking platform, but would not recommend Epic Tours Albania to anyone. Or at least handle with caution!
