Great tour with Oscar who shared lots of information about Leon and Nicaragua whilst on the tour. I learnt a lot about food in Nicargua and enjoyed all the food I tried. Lovely, engaging host and very good communication to organise the tour, Highly recommend

We had a wonderful time with Oscar. He shared so many informations with us and it’s been the perfect start to get introduced to the food in Nicaragua. He choose great samples and we had a wonderful time with him. It was more hanging out with a friend than being on a tour. Everything he showed us was very delicious.

Oscar was great!!! He was on time and available by WhatsApp. Then he gave us a great tour that included some history and the chance to try many local foods in the market nearby. He was very informative, spoke great English, and was always checking in to see if we had any questions or needed anything.
The food tour is worth a 10/10!

We booked the food tour online with Oscar. We immediately received a super clear explanation of the tour's content. Fantastic! On the day itself, we enjoyed all the information Oscar shared about the city of León and the food. Incredibly interesting and educational! He let us try all sorts of things. A real added value to our trip through Nicaragua!

This was a great tour that show cased local foods that we had never heard of or tried. So many interesting flavours. Even our children experimented. Vladimir was a friendly guide who also shared insights into the history and culture of Leon as well.

Super informative and interesting tour around the market. I’ve been fortunate to travel quite a bit but we were fed a fruit that I’d never even heard of, let alone tried. Oscar is a wonderful guide and I’d suggest anyone visiting León to take this tour.

Vladimir was great. Our family enjoyed the tour. Food samples were delicious. Definitely recommend. Use the restrooms before you go. They charge in the market for use.

Excellent Leon market food tour. We went with Oscar who was really friendly, spoke great English and was very knowledgeable. Good communication beforehand too. We did this on our first day in Leon. I’ve done a lot of food tours but I tried so many new things- fruits, sour and spicy fruits, cacao, drinks and a beef stew cooked in banana leaves with plantain and duka. Oscar gave us lots of historical and cultural tips too as well as recommendations for dinner and drinks! Would highly recommend.
