Traditionally, authentic Kintsugi requires a process that takes about a month to complete. However, in this workshop, we use synthetic lacquer instead of natural lacquer, and metallic powder as a substitute for gold, allowing participants to complete and take home their restored piece within 90 minutes.
All materials are sourced from trusted suppliers whose products have passed safety tests for tableware. However, we recommend using the restored piece for decorative purposes only. Please also note that the repaired item is not microwave-safe, as there is a risk of ignition.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

This experience was fantastic. Excellent instructor. The class was inside a small lounge. It was a beautiful, peaceful place. And we were able to take home a souvenir with personal meaning.

Great experience! Tatsu san is a patient and detailed instructor. He gives you a little history on kintsugi and is with you every step of the way in the process. For it being my first time, and due to his direction, I think my piece came out beautiful. I love it! I now have a special souvenir I made myself. I recommend this to anyone wanting a kintsugi experience!
