Great information about the history & culture on tour! We wanted to focus on temples & gardens. Ryo added additional sites along the way. He also sent us numerous links to sites for our remaining days based on our interests. We had a really fun day exploring Tokyo with Ryo! Strongly recommend spending a day with him!

We had a customized full day tour of Tokyo. We wanted to hit some specific sites in depth and get information /tips of other activities to do on our own for our remaining days here. Ryo was warm, kind, and Insightful regarding history and current culture. He loaded us up with links to the other items we planned to do on our own and made recommendations based on our interests. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with him.

Our Guide for the Zojo-Ji Temple, Imperial Palace, Sensi-Ji Temple & Hamarikyu Gardens Ryo was excellent and well-organised, having contacted us beforehand to ask what sites we would like to visit and tailored the day accordingly. Ryo was knowledgeable and considerate, giving us mobility options for bus, cab, or Metro and took time to find appropriate seating options. Ryo’s English was very good, and he was very informed about the sites. I would definitely recommend him again with a 10 out of 10.

I’ve had the pleasure of hiring several private guides while traveling solo, and I can confidently say that Ryo was one of the very best. From the start, he was incredibly flexible and accommodating, allowing me to tailor the itinerary to exactly what I wanted. I was hoping to mix a bit of shopping with visits to some of Tokyo’s iconic spots (and of course, capture a few great photos along the way), and he went above and beyond to make sure every detail was covered seamlessly. What truly set Ryo apart was how effortless and enjoyable the entire day felt. This wasn’t your typical tour experience—it felt more like spending the day exploring the city with a knowledgeable friend who just happens to know all the best spots. He was easygoing, attentive, and completely in tune with what I was looking for. If you’re looking for a guide who is flexible, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in creating a personalized experience, I highly recommend Ryo. He made my time in Tokyo not only smooth and stress-free, but truly memorable.

Ryo was an excellent host and very accommodating to our needs. Due to a flight cancellation we had to do a last minute visit with him so he was flexible about the plan, improvised a creative one for us which we enjoyed immensely. He is informed about the city, can point out and give background on buildings and areas and knows his way around the complicated subway! He is considerate and a warm person. Very likable. We recommend him completely.
