Where to begin?! Our guide, Sebastian was outstanding! The customization he provided was incredible. We saw Sensoji temple and the surrounding area including Kappabashi Doori where we wanted to buy knives. Sebastian knew the perfect shop and we are very happy with the engraved purchase. From there we had a delicious dumpling lunch and then saw all the anime and figurine areas. What an experience! We never would have done this one our own - it was such an insight into this culture and part of Japan we were just amazed. Sebastian then showed us other temples that were less crowded than the first and quite peaceful. In Shinjuku we were able to see the restaurant and bar streets which were unique and an experience we won’t forget. The crossing in Shibuya ended our day and was more than I expected. I don’t think we would have seen any of these gems of Tokyo without Sebastian. His knowledge and ability to change what we saw based on our interest and what we had already seen on our own was impressive. And he’s such a fun guy!!! I would not only recommend this tour but Sebastian to guide you - he’s really great!

Make sure you wear sneakers because there will be a lot of walking. We didn’t have to take our shoes off anywhere. Our guide was fabulous showed us how to ride a subway how to reload our subway cars have to download the app to use the subway by tapping our phone. It’s worth doing very early in your trip because it will make their rest of your trip much easier and more meaningful.

This private tour is definitely worth taking early on. You get the vibes of each major district in Japan. It was very comprehensive, and Leeloo was knowledgeable and friendly. She went along at our pace, focused on our interests, was flexible with the tour, and she was very passionate about Japan. Be prepared to do a lot of walking

Seeing the highlights of Tokyo with Renaud was great. He has a great knowledge of the city and his love of the culture is obvious. We saw the key highlights of the city and even went for a very nice lunch. The 4-hour walking / subway tour was ideal for the time I had. Highly recommended!

Thank you Renaud for the perfect first day family experience in Tokyo. We were thrilled to see so many of the important sites in Japan in such a short period of time. The tour gave us just the right amount of history and context for what we were seeing, but also kept us moving. We are traveling with a 19 year old daughter and 22 year old son and it is not easy to keep everyone happy - however you managed to and we are very appreciative!

A thoroughly enjoyable day exploring the two most famous Tokyo temples and many other sights around the city. Over the course of the day, our tour guide Seba taught us much about Japanese culture and history. Also, how to manage the public transport here! A great day with a great guy.
