Fabulous Shibuya food tour with Kei. He was very knowledgeable and great fun. All our four food stops were absolutely delicious and I particularly enjoyed the tuna 😋. I would highly recommend this tour as a great insight into Japanese food and culture. Thank you Kei 👍

This tour was so great! Nicolas was such an awesome guide. He was very knowledgeable about Tokyo and explained each dish with great detail. He’s very good at his job and did wonderfully with such a large and spirited group.

This was the worst food tour I have ever taken. This was not at all as advertised there were 12 people 6 of whom were late. And we had to wait. At the first stop we were given 2 Chinese dumplings (very reminiscent of Costco) , a handful of edamame, one frito sized wafer with ground beef topping, 3 wonton like strips and a drink. This was sit down. The second “stop” was when we were told to gather around an outside tabletop. The guide handed out chopsticks and set 2 plastic containers of octopus on the table and we stood around and took turns dipping into the containers. Thee were people we did not know and there was plenty of double dipping- disgusting! Then we were walked through some kind of shopping mall killing time because the next restaurant was not ready. When we got to the restaurant which was right next door to the first one we waited for a very long time to be given a very poor grade of sashimi, over cooked batter fried ahi and a sushi roll (which was good). We each got 2 pieces of the sashimi, 2 pieces of the ahi and one piece of the sushi roll. We also could get a drink. Our next “stop” was the guide handing us a small custard pastry on the sidewalk outside the restaurant - not a dessert but something you might give a child as a snack overly sweet and doughy. We were told that we could not go to the dessert restaurant because the group was too large. It was impossible to hear or understand the guide due to the size of the group and the atmosphere. He said he was not really familiar with Japanese food and was filling in because 15 guides had quit in the last 2 weeks. I can see why they would quit. This was disorganized and mismanaged from the very beginning. It appears that they chose the least expensive restaurants they could . The food quality and restaurant ambience was very poor. This food tour was a waste of money and most of all a waste of a night in Tokyo.

Kei was fantastic! This tour was super enjoyable and all the food was amazing. The amount of food was definitely worth the price of the tour and we made it to all 4 spots in about 3 hours. 10/10 recommend!
