This was the perfect thing to do during our first full day in Tokyo. Not only were we introduced to some fun and delicious foods, but Shane was informative about the areas we visited and provided good context. There was more than enough food. Would totally recommend this tour!

Great restaurants and good mix of food. Igor mixed in a good tour of the area too - we loved the start with a trip up a tiny alley full of bars and grilled skewers. Fun tour.

Mak was incredible. He was a very incredible tour guide. He showed us all the good places in Shinjuku. He was also able to give very insightful history. He opened my eyes to the history of Shinjuku. I would definitely recommend Mak to anyone looking to visit Japan. It was worth every penny.

Truly phenomenal, a highlight of the trip so far! Mak was exceptional - engaging, thorough, and very knowledgeable. I left this tour having learned a tremendous amount about Japanese history, and getting to taste good I otherwise wouldn’t have known to order. Mak was incredible! I would pay this any day. We got to try many different types of food, but all very authentic. There is something for everyone and I didn’t expect to get so much history with it too! It was honestly my favourite day in Tokyo was this day :)

Mak’s knowledge of the cultural and historic side of Japan was amazing. He was very friendly and willing to answer questions that we had. The restaurants were amazing and the food choices were delicious. Overall the tour was a fantastic experience that I would recommend highly.
