This kanzashi workshop takes place in a real artisan’s studio located in a traditional residential area of Japan, offering an incredibly local and authentic experience. The master craftsman creates hairpins used in Japanese dramas and productions—his work is truly art. It’s an ideal place for anyone wanting to connect with genuine Japanese craftsmanship. The English-speaking guide was not only very clear but also kind and warm, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere throughout the experience. This became an unforgettable highlight of my time in Japan.
