I had an amazing experience on the Tokyo Sushi Making & Tsukiji Market Tour. The highlight of the tour was definitely our guide, who was incredibly kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. From the moment the tour started, they made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Their explanations about Japanese food culture, sushi traditions, and the history of Tsukiji Market were clear, interesting, and full of fascinating details that I would never have learned on my own. As we walked through the market, the guide shared insights about the ingredients, local businesses, and customs that make Japanese cuisine so unique. I was impressed by how much they knew and how passionately they spoke about the culture. They were always happy to answer questions and took the time to make sure everyone understood and enjoyed the experience. The sushi-making session was also excellent. The guide and instructors explained each step carefully and patiently, making it easy even for beginners. Their encouragement helped me feel confident while preparing my own sushi. It was not only fun but also educational. What made this tour truly special was the combination of hands-on learning and cultural knowledge. Thanks to the guide’s expertise and warm personality, I gained a much deeper appreciation for Japanese food and traditions. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tokyo. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my trip, and I am very grateful to the guide for making it so enjoyable and meaningful.

I really enjoyed the sushi-making experience. The instructors not only taught us how to make sushi in a careful and easy-to-understand way, but also explained its history and origins. I also learned a lot about Japanese culture, including the history of the buildings and other cultural aspects. It was a very valuable and educational experience.

My partner and I just arrived in Japan for our very first 1-week trip, and this was our absolute first stop! We met at 9:30 AM in front of the iconic 'Maguro Daio' statue and jumped straight into the heart of Tsukiji. This 2-hour tour was the perfect compact introduction to Tokyo for us, especially since we wanted to see everything without getting tired on our first day. Our guide, Ajino-san, was incredible—always smiling and answering all of our curious questions. We were so surprised and delighted to find out she was also our sushi instructor afterward! Since this is run by a century-old established company, our expectations were high, but they totally blew us both away. It was fun way to kick off our vacation. Highly recommend for couples on their first time in Tokyo!

I had a super amazing experience being able to get a tour of the Tsukiji market and being able to see the hidden local areas as well as learning the history and many cool trivia’s about the Tsuikiji market. The instructor was super sweet as well and politely taught us how to make each sushi step by step. We were prepared with fresh, high quality fish and other items in the bento box. The bento boxes were handmade and very aesthetically pleasing with cherry blossom prints. There were also many decorations for the sushi’s as well!! Overall it was a 10/10 experience and will definitely recommend to any age.

Had an amazing experience today in Tsukiji! We first walked around the market and got to watch how Japanese omelets were made, which was super interesting. After that, we explored the fish market and learned about different kinds of fish, Japanese food culture, and the history of Tsukiji. We also visited knife shops and kitchen tool stores, which was really cool. The sushi-making experience was definitely one of the best parts. We didn’t just make sushi, but also learned about the history and etiquette behind it. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and answered every question perfectly. You could really tell how passionate they were. Overall, it was such a fun and memorable experience, and I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tokyo!

The sushi-making experience was really fun and enjoyable. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming rather than overly formal, which made it easy to relax and have a good time. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the activity, and the sushi toppings were surprisingly fresh and delicious. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Japan or anyone who loves sushi and Japanese culture.

I ended up visiting the Tsukiji Outer Market on short notice, but since this tour combined a walking tour with a sushi-making class, I was able to make the most of my time there very efficiently. I highly recommend this tour.

On this tour, we got to take a look behind the scenes at a tamagoyaki shop and a japanese kitchen tool store. I think this is the kind of experience you can only have because the tour owner is a local. I highly recommend it !

I was looking for a guided tour of the Tsukiji Fish Market when I found one that included a sushi-making experience, so I signed up without hesitation. I bought the tuna recommended by the guide and was able to make and eat my own sushi, which was very exciting!
