・Supervised by the 63rd Yokozuna, it features powerful sumo performances by former professional sumo wrestlers.
・Step into the ring, snap photos with sumo wrestlers, enjoy authentic Yokozuna chanko hot pot, and try mochi pounding!
※The sumo experience is an entertainment program for both adults and children, and differs from morning practice or official tournaments.
※If many guests join the sumo challenge or mochi-pounding, participation may be limited to one person per group or decided by lottery.
※Souvenirs may vary by season.
※Vegetarian and vegan meals are available upon request at least 2 days in advance.

5.00Fun for all ages! Okay, real talk: the sumo show was a blast, the food was just okay, and the mochi-pounding was pretty much exactly what you’d expect. But they did an awesome job with photos and keeping everyone involved, so it’s definitely a fun experience for all ages. If you want some laughs and a unique Tokyo memory, go for it!

5.00This is an awesome experience! They organize this event so well. You are always engaged but never over whelmed. You start with food so you always have something to munch on/ do with your hands even as they prepare the next experience. They tell and show a lot about sumo. They're very accessible for English speakers. They provide the Japanese words, the translation and then have you practice saying the word. They have a lot of fun showing the various sumo techniques. They show you how to do mochi pounding and give you a chance to do it! They show you sumo practice and give you a chance to do it! They even show you sumo and give you a chance to do it! They also do a very good job of showmanship and making it entertaining to watch other people try out the experiences. Overall one of our favorite experiences in Japan.

5.00SumoLand - FOR THE WIN! This was an outstanding experience. We weren’t sure what to expect, but decided a hotpot and sumo show would make for a memorable Thanksgiving Day (US holiday) treat for our family of three (2 adult, 1 teen) while in Tokyo. Boy of boy did they DELIVER. We had a blast. Super professional team of athlete performers and staff. The hot pot was excellent, they were able to accommodate my vegetarian food preference, and ringside seating for all. The athletes were no joke - thought it might just be a cheesy tourist thing, but the brief matches hosted near the end of meal were legitimate and impressive. We learned about sumo and are excited to attend a tournament in the future. I highly recommend this for a fun family experience, and strongest endorsement for this company in particular. SumoLand was great!
