You will be greeted with a refreshing rhum punch upon arrival at this gorgeous landmark building located directly on the Caribbean’s largest Lagoon, which stunningly accommodates Topper’s Rhum distillery and its restaurant, bar, gelateria, and gift shop.
A knowledgeable and entertaining guide will give you a hands-on tour where you will learn a little history of rum and get a behind-the-scenes look at how they ferment, distill, blend, age, and expertly bottle their handcrafted rums and ensure their products meet the highest quality standards. You will learn how to nose and taste rhum. You will be treated to over 20 samples of their 124 different flavored rhums, rum cake, and rum-infused Italian gelato, and cook and taste food prepared with Topper’s Rhum.
As St. Maarten’s official rum, Topper’s has been named USA Today’s Best Caribbean Rum Distillery for four years and has won over thirty prestigious tasting medals. Come and have fun enjoying this world-class rhum.

5.00It was such an amazing time, Carol made sure we was educated on everything while having a great time. We were able to even mingle with the other group and later became a connection. We also were able to meet the CEO, everything was just amazing and was a great start to our trip. Will definitely be back. We also purchased some of the rum and was just as great during the tasting!

I even got to be the chef during the cooking demonstration, which made the experience especially memorable. The team did a great job showing how different rhums enhance flavors and explaining the distillation process in an engaging, easy-to-follow way. A special shoutout to Sparkle, who was an exceptional host. Despite it being her first night leading the tour, she was confident, knowledgeable, and welcoming, keeping everyone entertained throughout. The tour blended history, culture, tastings, and hands-on activities perfectly. Whether you're a rhum enthusiast or simply looking for a unique experience in St. Maarten, I highly recommend Toppers. You'll leave with great memories and a deeper appreciation for rhum. Cheers to the entire Toppers team for a fantastic evening!

5.00We had a fun experience at Topper's. Although the history lesson was informative, I did not remember anything because the shots were flowing non stop. Our tour guide was very fun and interactive. The soursop and guava were a couple of my favs. I had to buy the full size bottles, which was worth the pain of checking my bag. I would definitely recommend this tour, but please have a driver because you will leave tipsy

Our host and guide was truly exceptional, bringing infectious energy and genuine passion to every moment of the tour. What set her apart was her remarkable depth of knowledge — she wove together the history of rum with fascinating tidbits from cultures around the world, creating a sense of connection among everyone in the group. She has a real gift for storytelling and making people feel at ease, and she made my time in Saint Martin all the more memorable. I can't recommend this enough!
