The tour of the Mansion is very fun and great way to see the Wall Street of the South. Galveston has an interesting history starting in 1880s, 1890s and 1900

My husband and i with my Mother and 2 of our best friends went on a tour at the Moody Mansion. What a beautiful home! Currently, the lower level is a childrens museum! We were able to tour 2 levels with the top level being closed as it is used as storage. Everything we saw was restored and kept clean and preserved. Herman, a volunteer, was very kind and helpful as was a young lady whom i didnt get her name. They were very knowledgable and helped my Mom get into a very small elevator with her walker. She did great but if you have any claustrophobia you should take the stairs! I highly recommend this self guided tour of Moody Mansion!

The employees are very nice! I didnt realize that the tour was an app you listen to on your phone. All around beautiful place. Also, only 2 levels of the building are for tourists. 1st and second floor. The other floor above is for storage and employees area. All around enjoyable place to visit.

Very nice self guided tour. Easy to navigate. Interesting facts. Would have loved to see more pictures of the family but they did a good job.

Kinda expensive to do 15 minutes of looking. There is no one to show you the house or history it’s go at your own pace and scan a code to play an audio. 3rd floor was off limits and basement was a kids activity place that was off limits. Definitely wouldn’t go there again.
