Absolutely fabulous experience. Anyone on Grand Bahama Island needs to go. Very educational. Coral Vita is working to rebuild the coral reefs and working toward bringing their technology throughout the world.

We waited for nearly an hour for the driver to pick us up at the port. When he finally arrived we got into the van. He decided he did not want to take us to the beach so he asked another driver in a different van to transport us. Had we known it would be the same cost, we would have just taken a taxi and would not have had to wait.

I probably cant say enough good things about Davis out tour guide. If I knew how to use him frequently I would love to have the information. I have been to Nassau four times over the past few years, however I learned so much more this tour with Davis than I ever had in the last 4. He was so educated on the islands history an culture and seemed to have a great understanding of what we would be interested in knowing of the island. I have bragged to several who have asked about my trip. I do wish I knew how to recommend him for the tour guide. I'm not stating any others aren't good at their jobs, I'm merely stating he did a great job and went above and beyond my expectations for a 3 hour tour. I do think more time at each stop would be of benefit to the guests who take the tour. Over all we covered a lot of area and the sites we stopped at were all highlights of the island.

Mass confusion! First of all, the time of the excursion needs to state on the island time, not cruise time. And though we stated that we had a wheelchair, we had a difficult time finding an accessible transport without the long wait. On the way back, the driver tried his best, but we had to transfer the wheelchair person from the chair to a seat to be able to fold the wheelchair up to take back with us. Don't recommend this excursion for anyone in a wheelchair.

Overall, the tour was good. It was raining in the morning so the other group scheduled to go to the beach at the same time as us did not want to go to the beach so the driver agreed to take them on a island tour instead. He asked us if we would also like to go on an island tour but we declined. We ended up taking a partial island tour an then he dropped us at the beach. This was fine however we needed to pay an extra 20 for the partial island tour and then take separate transportation back to the ship. Overall it was fine although I felt slightly coerced into taking the island tour and paying the additional money. In the end it was fine and under normal circumstances no rain, it would have been fine and a great deal for a beach day. The beach was great, the sun came our and the water and sand were fantastic. The were a number of restaurants at the beach and the people working there were very friendly. Would recommend.

Awesome excursion. We met our driver, Brice in front of Senor Frog's. He gave us a little background as he drove us in the air conditioned minibus. He helped us get checked in and pay our admission to the beach club. He provided us with return tickets. Beach was perfect!

Not what I expected. A guy named Uncle just handed me money and told me to wait for another company's car and pay for it. When I got to the beach, they charged me again the price I paid on Viator. Had to sit there for over an hour waiting for "Uncle" to show up and give me my money back.

First of all I don't blame our driver by any means, he was amazing when we did FINALLY find him. Basically we booked a cruise through Viator and this beach transfer through Viator. When I booked the beach transfer they asked which cruise line I would be coming in on and we thought things would go smoothly because both of these were booked through Viator. We got off the boat 15 minutes prior to the pick up time and we waited until 30 minutes past the pick up time. Luckily there was a nice woman who worked for another travel company that let us use her phone to call the driver of our shore excursion. The driver said we had missed him and he would pick us up in an hour. We were very confused. Turns out there are two terminals at the port and Viator failed to notify our driver which port our cruise ship that we booked through Viator would be coming into. I would suggest saving yourself the headache and pay the 2 extra for a taxi. That being said, Junkanoo was a very fun beach. There was plenty to do, the admittance fee was cheap, and the drinks were reasonably priced see attached photo. The free wifi at Junkanoo didn't work at all, but you don't really need wifi if you're enjoying a day at the beach. I do recommend getting a rum coconut from one of the vendors. One of them has a 30 free refills coconut, 3 shots of rum per coconut, definitely a great deal!

The fee only pays for transportation from the ship the beach and back. When you get to the beach there is a 3 per person entry charge. Beach loungers and an umbrella are an additional 15. The beach is pretty, but the shallow water is filled with rocks. The food choices are good and not too overpriced. Overall it was a nice beach break. There is nothing to do immediately around the port except some shopping. I did not rent any additional equipment: kayaks, paddleboards, snorkles etc.
