5.00Francisco was a wonderful guide. We learned a lot and his English was also very good. It was the best way for us to see all of the city without having to walk up and down hills with our younger child. Highly recommend him for a tour!

5.00Tour guide had a wealth of knowledge of the places we visited. He made the day lots of fun. Time was well spent. He changed the schedule to fit our plans. The place he took us to eat was a little pricey for lunch. But I truly enjoyed the entire day.

5.00This was a brilliant tour with Francisco, an independent guide. He knows Lisbon like the back of his hand and was able to show us the main highlights of the city, as well as provide amazing and engaging overview of its history. He was very professional from the outset and was able to accommodate last minute changes to the booking and adapt the tour to suit our needs. It’s a shame our time in Lisbon was limited, there was so much more to see and Francisco would be the perfect guide to do this. I would definitely recommend Francisco / Lisbon Day Trip to anyone visiting the city!

5.00We had a great trip today with Francisco. FYI— he owns and operates his own company so if you book you will get him. He took us to all the best monuments on a private tour with my family. He was so knowledgeable! And kind. One thing that really stands out is his attention to us after the tour, providing photos and locations to where we visited in case we want to go back. It was a fabulous kickoff to our trip. I highly recommend him.

5.00Francisco and his friend Gonzalo were absolutely amazing guides during our time in Lisbon. From the very beginning, their passion for the city and what they do was clear. They were knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely thoughtful. Always making sure everyone felt comfortable and included. What made the experience truly unforgettable was how personal and authentic it felt. They didn’t just take us to the usual spots, they shared the real Lisbon with us. One of the highlights was a fantastic local restaurant they brought us to in Benfica. It was the kind of hidden gem you’d never find on your own, and it made the whole day feel even more special. Thanks to Francisco and Gonzalo, I didn’t just see Lisbon, I connected with it. Their love for the city is contagious, and I feel so lucky to have experienced it through their eyes. Highly recommend them to anyone wanting a meaningful, local experience. Might move to Lisbon after this!

5.00Our Lisbon day tour with Francisco Basso was excellent. He is very knowledgeable, accommodating, and went out of his way to make sure we had a great time experiencing Lisbon for the first time in October 2023. The icing on the cake is that he's a great photographer too, who will take memorable pictures of you and your spouse or family at key city sites with great views. I highly recommend him and hope to come back to Portugal soon to do the Sintra city tour we didn't have time to do because we had to catch a cruise ship.
