Excellent value, a must do for anyone with an interest in European history. Our guide Tatiana was very knowledgeable and friendly and the lunch and wine at her parent’s’ house was delicious. There is a lot of walking but everywhere we went was spotlessly clean, well-maintained and extremely safe. The only slight criticism is Tatiana’s English pronunciation (eg pronouncing “Latin” as “Lay-tan”, which confused a lot of people. Her vocabulary and grammar are great but her pronunciation is difficult to understand at times). But, only a minor issue…the whole trip was an amazing experience and value!

Gentle guide, well informed willing to help you in any trouble. What I did not like was the choice of the Soviet dining room as a place to eat.

There were only three of us plus guide and driver. An absolute stroke of luck the two. It began with the Jedi first recognizing the Fuhrer. She couldn't get the cardboard with my name out of her purse. We had a wonderful day and how the later evening went, the singer's courtesy is silent. The Jedi must protect his new friends. ;-}

This is a well organised tour, and gives visitors an authentic experience of Pridnestrovia / Transnistria during the day. Tatiana was an excellent, informative and sympathetic guide and handled her narrative of what is a sensitive situation in a professional and balanced manner. The balance of historical sites and the city centre worked well in giving context and insights. Our lunch stop was magnificent. What a welcoming family, with wonderful food, wine and engagement. This is not to be missed!

Tatiani is an excellent guide. Transnistria is such an intriguing destination. The tour took in lots of sights with lots of information given about these and the local history. Lunch at her parent’s home was lovely. Her lovely mum made lunch and her father was very generous with his home made wine, cognac and vodka. He is a great character and lots of fun. I would highly recommend this tour.

This was truly one of the best tours I’ve ever taken in my life! Exploring Transnistria with such a well-organized itinerary was incredible—but what truly made it unforgettable was our wonderful guide, Ana. Ana was cheerful, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and culture of the region. Her energy and warmth created such a friendly atmosphere, and she made sure every question was answered and every guest felt comfortable and involved. We covered all the promised highlights and then some! One of the unique moments was a stop at a local Soviet-style canteen, where we got to experience an authentic vibe—and Ana even treated us to a free beer, adding a fun and thoughtful touch to the day! The absolute highlight, though, was the lunch at Tatiana’s parents’ home. It was an experience like no other—home-cooked local food lovingly prepared by her parents, unlimited alcohol, and the kind of hospitality that touches your heart. Her father even played a traditional musical instrument, which made the moment so special and authentic. It truly felt like being welcomed into a local family’s celebration, not just a tour meal. I have never experienced such genuine hospitality in all my travels. This wasn’t just a tour—it was a cultural immersion, a joyful day, and a memory I will cherish forever. If you’re considering visiting Transnistria, this tour is an absolute must. Thank you Ana, Tatiana, and your amazing family for making this such a memorable and heartfelt experience!

The visit to Tiraspol and Bender was exciting. Our two guides were very friendly and particularly interesting. We had lunch with the family of one of our guides, the opportunity to taste a real family meal and taste wine from the house! I expected a more consensual experience, but on the contrary we were able to talk very openly and lucidly with our guides, discovering Pridnestrovia (real name of this self-proclaimed state and only authorized since 2024) in another light. I highly recommend this tour to travelers traveling to Moldova. We had no security problems (fast border crossing, no searches, photographs allowed in most places, very welcoming premises). A visit that brings a more nuanced and human perspective to this endearing territory, far from the clichés and fantasies conveyed in the West.

The tour is amazing. The tour guide Ana gave a lot of information about Bender and Tiraspol, and histories of Transnistria. I enjoyed walking in Tiraspol like locals by visiting their restaurants, shops and markets. Of course, Ana took us to see some Soviet buildings. Also, Tatiana and her family offered great hospitality, delicious home-made local dishes and wine thought the lunch came with an extra fee, I enjoyed it so much! I would recommend this tour to those who would like to understand more and experience Transnistria. One more thing, this tour does not offer pick up (you can add it with an extra fee), Ana stayed with me until I could get the ticket and get on the bus back to Chisinau , I truly appreciated her help otherwise I could be stuck in Transnistria.
