A beautiful building with architecture based on European theaters. On the day we went to visit it was not open to the public, so I cannot evaluate the interior of the building. However, outside we took great photos.

We made a guided tour with a guide who spoke Portuguese. Very polite and communicative, we learned a bit of the history of the place and visited the central hall, very beautiful.

The theater and beautiful, nothing too... guided tour is not interesting. They are not attentive and the guides do the least possible. The theater's website for hourly ticket guidance is a disappointment. Theatre opens at 15:00 hs, you will buy the ticket, only 15 minutes before 16:00 hs. At the sale the employee says "we have no exchange"... prices 150 Uruguayan pesos for tourists and 100 Uruguayan pesos for locals. It seems to me that Uruguay is not interested in receiving tourists.

The theater is beautiful! Well taken care and full of history. The guide Iara was making her first visit and, despite the nervousness, gave the message! Highlight for the small theatrical participations of local artists. Very fun!

Tour was good. Tea was just fair because of overcrowding in the tea room do to a performance that night.

The theater is very beautiful! We took the guided tour and it was worth it! The guide speaks Portuguese and presents the entire structure and history of the theater. The theater is public and has several projects, it should be very good to watch a show there.
