The Finnhorse is a unique breed that we try to protect. It is cooperative, trustworthy and extremely kind. We tell the story of the Finnhorse so that everyone understands its significance to us Finns. The versatility of the Finnhorse surprises most people, as it is currently used as a workhorse, trotting horse, in equestrian sports and in therapeutic use.
Our horses love grooming and crunches, cuddling and small treats. Even if you have never been in contact with horses before, in a short time you will notice why people all over the world spend hours with horses. You could listen to the peaceful neighing sound of eating hay alone forever, and a few hugs will transfer the warmth from the horse to you.
A charming moment with a Finnhorse leaves a mark on the heart.

What To Expect
The charming Finnhorse moment is aimed at the youngest members of the family. Of course, if they wish, moms and dads are welcome to join us in petting our adorable horses. We take care of and feed the horses, after which we go on a short riding tour with a leash. The horse creates joy around him and takes away the worries that weigh on your mind, they make sure that you focus on being present 100%. The sympathetic, calm nature makes even the most mature visitors lose heart to these furry friends.

Horses well looked after but disorganised chaos

1.00The horses were lovely and very well looked after, so my complaint is nothing to do with that. Unfortunately the place seemed quite badly organised. For the first half hour of being there, there were no staff around and it was very unclear on where we should go. When staff did turn up they didn’t seem to be aware of my booking. But eventually we were able to groom a horse. The horse was again lovely and well cared for but was calling out to her friends (naturally!). I have a horse so was safe, but staff came away from the horse regularly and because she was calling for the other horses, kept moving around. Again, I don’t have a problem with the horse, she was just being a horse. But I’m unsure as to why staff left us alone with a horse we didn’t know. The horse moved around so much that my Nana felt unsafe and stepped back to leave me to groom her. I wasn’t able to enjoy my experience because with no staff being there, I had to make sure we were both safe. The quick ten minute ride was good and for someone wanting a horse experience, it’s the right thing for you. But again the horse was quite green and didn’t like being out alone. Looking back at the photos he seems a little bum high so may be young.
