Sataplia Managed Reserve is located in Tskaltubo municipality, Imereti region, where the footprints of Herbivorous and Raptor dinosaurs of different epochs are found. Sataplia dinosaurs are called “Satapliazaurus” and are different from Europian dinosaurs.

5.00I’m so impressed by the quality of these tours. This included Ubisa monastery as well as the other significant sites mentioned in the itinerary- i was dazzled… But the whole day was enriching: a good natured and informative guide makes all the difference, so I felt very lucky to be there with David. He made sure that we proceeded at a relaxed pace and that there was enough time at each stop to take in the sights and surroundings. In terms of knowledge, he’s like a living book! If you’re in Tbilisi and curious about the rest of Georgia, it’s definitely worth making the time to take this day trip.
