Join this tour to explore the hidden waterfalls starting located in Kandy within Wattegama to Bambarella area which help you find your way to places usually seen only by local residents. There’s a tour with hikes leading to 7 Beautiful Waterfalls drop into a large pool filled with sparkling turquoise water with lush green plant life and wildflowers climb the rock walls as the sound of rushing water roared in the background. Most of these falls are originated in the world famous Knuckles mountain range. Drive is so beautiful as it takes you through beautiful landscaping including hilly areas, tea estates & villages.There will be a local villager join with us for the tour as they are good in advising us with the best route / short cuts. Also you will get the opportunity to meet the locals, talks to them and observe their day today life style. It takes only few hours to complete the tour.

5.00We had a wonderful time with our guide, traveling the hillsides and tea plantations in his tuk tuk seeing both accessible and out of the way waterfalls. Wear comfortable footwear wear you that can get muddy, my friend lost her sneaker temporarily in the mud; sandals were also fine. The homemade lunch we had at our guide’s house was the best Sri Lankan meal I had during my stay. We did not encounter any leeches.

Be aware of Leeches!

5.00Be aware of Leeches! There are many of them around the waterfalls and i got bitten a lot. Neither my guide, nor the company i booked through will tell you this information in advance, cause all they care about - is your money. My guide did NOT have a first aid kit. Please bring plasters and medication to stop bleeding cause the leeches tend to go for veins. Apart from that, the waterfalls were amazing.

5.00We had a great time visiting waterfalls around the Knuckles mountain range. We had a driver pick us up from our hotel in the morning, he drove us out to the range where we met our local guide. We saw many waterfalls and could swim in two of them. We then had a lovely Sri Lankan lunch cooked for us before travelling back to Kandy. Great trip - would recommend
