What To Expect
San Fernando
Travelers will disembark at the Harris Promenade where they will see the statues of Marcus Garvey, Simon Bolivar, Rodney Wilkes, Mahatma Gandhi, Simon Bolivar and even a statue at the Roman Catholic Church. This will make excellent photo opportunities and learn the History of the persons carved in stone in the second City of Trinidad and Tobago.
Debe
At Debe travellers will once again disembark to experience food delights of Doubles, Saheena and a variety of sweets all part of out Indo-Trinidadian heritage. A statue of the father of Chutney Music, Sundar Popo is also in Debe and guests can learn and capture the legacy of a pioneer in Indo Trinidadian music. Excellent Photo opportunities

5.00Our trip to the Mud Volcano, Caroni Swamp, and Port of Spain by night with Tibet Tours on the 1st January 2026 was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, the experience was perfectly curated, well-paced, and incredibly memorable. What made this tour truly special was that even my 85-year-old mother had a wonderful time—she felt comfortable, included, and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. That alone speaks volumes about the care, thoughtfulness, and professionalism of Marcus and his team. Our none local family members was really impressed and enjoyed the experience way too much, and was really impressed with Marcus and the knowledge of the sites we visited and the areas. The sights were breathtaking: the unique landscape of the Mud Volcano, the peaceful beauty of the Caroni Swamp, and the vibrant, magical atmosphere of Port of Spain at night. Every stop felt meaningful and well explained, with a genuine passion for sharing Trinidad’s culture and natural beauty. And the food—absolutely exceptional. Delicious, authentic, and generous, it added an extra layer of joy to an already outstanding experience. The stop at Debe from the airport to purchase doubles was an added bonus. This tour exceeded all expectations and left us with unforgettable memories. If you’re looking for a truly special, well-organized, and heartfelt experience, Tibet Tours is simply outstanding. Highly, highly recommended. The only downside was that it was too short. We did a day trip from Tobago next time we will have to make the visit longer.

5.00Incredible tour across the island of Trinidad! Marcus was extremely engaging, sharing the country's rich history throughout the day. The statues anchor the narrative around politics, music, sports, and activism to create a wholistic presentation of Trinidad's rich cultural imports and exports. In particular, I appreciated Marcus's deep knowledge of local music and carnival traditions - he is indeed a performing steel pan musician himself! He was also very happy to stop for a beer or a doubles and share tidbits around the island's culinary practices and history. The mud volcano is also a splendid experience. Very strange environment to be in (similar to being underwater), but simple to move around. The mud bath is followed by a quick rinse in the ocean, overlooking Venezuela in the distance. Can't recommend this highly enough!

5.00It was definitely worth the tour of the south of the island I did. Otis is an exceptional guide, knows a lot about his country and is very funny. He even invited me to eat some typical Trinidadian snacks called "double". It was worth going to Pitch Lake, Mud Vulcan and Temple of de Sea. Thank you very much

5.00I always wanted to experience soaking in the mud volcano and Tebet Tours made it happen! It's such a weird but calm feeling being in it, not to mention how great it leaves you skin feeling. Will do again!

5.00The mud volcano tour was fun and very educational. The tour guide from Tebet Tours kept us well entertained and informed with anecdotes relating to the history of Trinidad and Tobago. Even though I didn’t take a dip in the mud pool my friends seem to have had a time!! Would recommend this tour 200% for the educational value and pure fun at touring the country with good company.
