This is a traditional ritual that emphasizes the art of tea brewing and appreciation; it is not just about drinking tea. It embodies deep cultural significance: respect, harmony, and mindfulness. During the tea ceremony, you will taste various types of tea, such as Oolong, Pu-erh, green tea, jasmine tea, and flower tea. The tea master will demonstrate precise techniques, Each step is performed with intention, from warming the teapot to pouring the tea, creating a sensory experience that engages sight, smell, and taste. The Chinese tea ceremony is a must-do in Beijing. After the tea ceremony, you have the option to purchase some exquisite tea to take home and share with family and friends, at your own expense. Then, the tea master manager will walk you back to the meeting point or Jianguomen Subway station.

5.00Never had a tea ceremony before. This was absolutely love. Small portions but you really get to experience each one. I wanted to buy them all and wish I could have, but if you can, you should.

5.00It was a lovely little tour, not too long and very interesting. Richard was our guide, very kind and very patient as our Didi driver struggled to find the meeting point making us a little late. After the tour Richard was kind to show us a good authentic peking duck restaurant for lunch and made good suggestions. We would recommend this tour.

5.00I can’t say ENOUGH about my tour with RIchard! He was absolutely fantastic!! He was kind, knowledgeable, accommodating and really fun to tour around with. I lucked out being able to do a one-on-one with him, and he showed me an amazing time. He is extremely knowledgeable about calligraphy and was so patient with me as I tried to figure out the correct form. Did I also mention he was a GREAT photographer/videographer? I am looking forward to visiting again and will definitely hope to book with Richard! Absolutely get this tour if you are considering. You will have a memorable time.
