Fantastic night with the lovely Virginia. So kind and knowledgeable. Really made my holiday. Food was fantastic and of course the raki. I had to turn down the snails dish, not my cup of tea but they said they were delicious . Don't eat before you go, you get plenty. Thank you once again and wish Virginia a very happy life with her new baby Andriana.

This experience was exactly what we needed, met new people, tried amazing food. The restaurants we visited were off the Main Street and I doubt we would have found them and they were lovely. Our guide Virginia, was wonderful a font of knowledge.

If you do nothing else in Rethynmo do this!! And do it early in your holiday so you can discover hidden gems all through old town. Virginia is an amazing guide who is extremely knowledgeable about Greek and Cretan culture. She will have you trying food you would never think about ordering yourself. You will also be supporting lots of local small businesses. Highlight for me was the tiny restaurant that grew all its own produce.

We had such a great time exploring Rethymnon with Virginia. The places she chose were authentic and full of charm, the traditional dishes were delicious, and we learned so much about Cretan food and culture. Virginia’s warmth and knowledge made the tour truly special – a highlight of our trip!

The food was different and great. The guide was excellent and you could tell she put a lot into making it perfect. She also knew the area incredibly well and offered several additional suggestions for great places to go outside of those that we visited.
