Our cooking class starts with a welcoming morning coffee or tea. We start the fire in the wood burning oven and we begin to knead our dough. We then walk around Lefkada Micro Farm to harvest vegetables and herbs for our lunch and learn how our food grows organically. Get to know our trees, our vegetables, our herbs and our animals. By the time we get back to the kitchen the oven is hot and ready to bake our loaves. We prepare the vegetables for the Briam (roasted mixed vegetables) and place it in the oven. By the time the main dish is cooked we’ve already prepared the Greek salad and Tzatziki using the freshest vegetables, goat cheese and traditional sheep yoghurt from small local dairies. Finally, we sit together in our open air kitchen and enjoy what we’ve prepared.

Such an inspiring experience, told with passion and makes you consider your food choices! The price is high but I am happy to support this initiative. Small group and an amazing time, not commercial at all!

What an experience. It was fully immersive and our host Andreas was lonely, charming and a very fine cook. We started by making bread and then toured his lovely farm to collect herbs and vegetables for the other dishes. Andreas is passionate about organic food and his multi award winning olive oil is definitely a class above all other olive oils. We made Briam, tzatziki and Greek salad to go with our bread and everything was delicious. Andreas instructed us gently teaching us techniques to get the most flavour from the wonderfully fresh ingredients. All in all a joyful and fascinating experience.

We had a wonderful time touring Andreas farm and learning about Olive Oils. We picked his vegetables and made a delicious meal complete with bread, grilled veggies and Greek salad. It was lots of fun.

A beautiful olive grove with an abundance of wonderful vegetables, fruit trees and herbs grown organically and with the upmost respect for nature and biodiversity. Our group, a mix of ages and nationalities, quickly bonded over bread making before setting off to collect the ingredients needed to make the meal. Our host was so informative and shared lots of information about the botanicals along the way. His passion for what he nurtures on the farm is evident! More group prepping and chopping of the luscious vegetables and herbs followed as we were shown how to make the rest of the lunch. A relaxed approach to a cookery class which was stress free and informative throughout. Our host was incredibly well organised and prepared. He also a ensured that we had continuous access to water throughout to avoid dehydration on what was a VERY hot day (come prepared with sun hat!) The end result, greek salad, tzatziki, bread and Briam was served up at the large wooden table in the heart of the farm and enjoyed by us all. Don't expect a 'technical' cookery class, more an authentic insight into the traditional way of cooking some Greek classics with the focus on quality ingredients, and cooking from the heart. ❤️

A unique and fantastic way to spend an afternoon learning about micro farming and also a great way to gain Greek culinary skills, cooking up a storm. We prepared several magnificent dishes, including mixed Mediterranean vegetable Briam, authentic Greek salad, Tzatziki and freshly baked bread. We also got to taste the magnificent olive oil and honey produced on the farm. Highly recommend this experience.

Visiting this amazing farm is a great way to connect with the island and its resources. The cooking class was very well prepared and we ate the vegetables we picked ourselves, it can't get fresher than that! Andreas is very knowledgeable and shares his purpose with great passion and humour. His olive oil it out of this world too!! Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our day learning about Andreas’ micro farm which was beautifully laid out and sporting lots of healthy fruit and vegetables. The cooking was fun and our meal tasty. My competitive husband managed to turn it into an international “bake off” with our Dutch dining friends.

The guy was very kind and even though we were late he was very chilled i thoroughly enjoyed the experience and seeing how Greek food is made and how it tastes. The fresh salad and roast veg we picked was extremely delicious his own olive oil was tested for eighty two chemicals and not one was found which is amazing he is a very interesting man with an interesting story and I highly recommend the experience.

We had such fun visiting Andreas’s micro farm. He’s so passionate about how eco friendly he is. Met a lovely group of people. Food is vegetarian and mostly grown on his land. It’s about a 4 hour experience.
