What To Expect

Your transfer begins at the “Sosta Breve (scoperto)” parking spot about 65 feet (20 meters) from the Marco Polo Airport arrival terminal. On arrival, call or send a text to your driver, and look out for either a dark grey Volkswagen passat or a dark grey Renault van with Slovenian license plates. Board your air-conditioned car or van and head out of the airport, zipping past travelers taking slower public buses and trains, and reach the coastal city of Trieste near the Slovenian border in about 1.5 hours. Then, you’re dropped off directly in front of any hotel or private address within Trieste.

Mattie was very communicated from the time I made our reservation. He was at the airport waiting for us. He was very professional and helpful. During our drive he pointed out different historical sites, information about Italy's agriculture. He was very knowledgeable. It was like being on a tour not just an airport transfer. Definitely would make a point to request Mattie as our driver if we return to Venice!

Mattia with M-Trade was absolutely amazing! Greeted us at the arrival terminal and quickly took my wife’s bag and we took a short walk to his car. The car was spotless inside and out! We had about a 2 hr drive to our hotel in Tieste and enjoyed every mile of it. Mattia told us about many historic points on our dive and we had great conversation about the USA and his home town here in Italy. It was a wonderful experience and we highly recommended Mattia with M-Trade! We would have welcomed more conversation with him!

Great service from start to finish. The driver was welcoming and helpful with luggage, the van was clean and spacious and he arrived on time. The journey from Venice Airport to Koper was pleasant, and I felt completely taken care of the entire way. Highly recommended!
