  • Do not recommend!!!

The main reason I would not recommend this tour is because the details listed in the Viator listing is completely different than what we experienced and what we were told. First off on Viator there were three options: Cala Luna Only, Bue Merino only or both. I purchased both and even showed the operator my email confirmation but she said she only showed me for Cala Luna so I had to pay for that separation on arrival. Secondly on the Viator listing it says you can return 12:30, 13:30, 15:30, 16:30, 17:30 and 18:30. Well once we got to the island Cala Luna we were told the soonest we could head back was 16:30. Luckily we had brought some food with us but that would have been disastrous had we not brought food and a Sun umbrella. Then, this is where it got REAL CRAZY. There was a beach FULL of people ready to go. People were crowding and lining up by 3:45. The way they didn’t organize people properly for lines was mayhem but what happened is they filled a boat with 100 plus people. 200 plus people still waiting to get on. So another boat comes and it pulls up in a slightly different area so the people near the back of the line get on the boat and the people who narrowly missed the first boat didn’t get on until the third for fourth boat. It was a long time standing around waiting and people were mad. There was yelling, pushing, fighting. It was nuts. This is the biggest reason I would never recommend this tour.

Excellent part with Bue Marino Caves and horrible organisation on Cala Lunu. Situation: our boat started from Cala Gonone at 4 p.m. In description of this tour was written, that we will stay in Cala Lunu for 4 hours. So we arrived here at Cala Lunu at 5.30 and waiting for our boat after 9 p.m. But it haven’t been came!!!! So we need to go back by walk for 3.30 hours or rent a taxi boat. So we pay 220 euro for taxi!!! Horrible organisation about our tour!!!

  • Tourist factory to flee

There is so much to say: no one speaks French although the excursion was booked in that language. We pay 12 euros the visit of the cave but at the entrance the guide asks us to follow it without stopping (we do not have time to look and hop she talks 10 minutes and asks us to leave quickly because the boat is waiting. But otherwise I think it's a beautiful cave made in a rush. And what to say about the beach...it is beautiful but the return is not explained. You have to look on his paper at the return times (which nobody showed us) so you can go home 2 hours or 5 hours after you choose and you have to take a boat noted on your paper. Result 3 different boats, impossible to leave things in the boat. Nothing is explained at the start (where you wait for the boats to decide who goes where). It is an unpleasant tourist factory and employees often shout at the French...
