With a walk between the historic districts of Stampace and Marina, we will see the Tunnel–Shelter of the Salesian School, a 120 mt long private tunnel used during World War II as a shelter for the school's students from the bombings. Today, the tunnel almost looks like a mystic place with its red-bricked arcades, enlightened by soft candlelight.
We will continue the tour to explore the magnificent crypt of Saint Restituta, with its fascinating stories, and we will finish with a visit to the Archeological Area of Saint Eulalia to discover its amazing underground ruins.
The tour involves a short walk from site to site outside.
Accordingly to the opening times of the sites, there might be alternative underground sites to visit.
The tour is always done in dual languages with a guide who speaks English and Italian.

5.00What a cool experience! Highly recommend to anyone interested in history, archaeology, or just the sights in general. We didn't know what to expect from this tour, but it exceeded what we thought and is worth every penny. The guided tour is in both English and Italian, which makes it a bit longer but gives you time to absorb the information and look around at where you are, instead of just rushing through. We really appreciated the pace, the informative guide, and the small group size. It felt like a semi private tour and was the perfect duration. Also lots of opportunities to sit while listening, so our feet didn't get sore! Absolutely worth the experience, 10/10 and the tour operator is fantastic. Thank you for showing us these cool sites! :)

5.00You get to explore many interesting areas of Cagliari that are definitely off the beaten path. Our guide spoke both English and Italian and was very accommodating and gave us much history about the area. Very nice tour!

5.00The “Underground Cagliari” tour was one of the highlights of our Sardinia holiday! It was incredibly exciting to discover the secret passageways, ancient cisterns and hidden stories beneath the city. Our guide Roberto has made the tour very special – with his enthusiasm, in-depth knowledge and humour he has brought history to life. You can tell immediately that Roberto loves his work. He explains everything clearly and interestingly, answers each question patiently and manages to convey even complex historical topics in an easily understandable and entertaining manner. What was particularly beautiful was how he kept incorporating small anecdotes and local legends – so you really felt connected to the city.
