Here you can find anything you want: Painted goldish Lenin statues, unique plastic money, Russian military bases, huge Turkish fortress or biggest vodka museum in Europe. Transnistria can easily amaze you!
Feel in Transnistria like at home because local people are very nice and friendly.

What To Expect
Tighina Military Cemetery
First, stop after crossing the border. Tighina Military Cemetery.. This cemetery contains the graves of soldiers of many countries. In front of the monumental entrance, there stands a magnificent statue of General Potemkin, the lover-some say the husband-of Catherine the Great, who captured Bender fortress from the Ottomans.
Tiraspol
Tiraspol is the capital of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR). It is a beautiful, modern and hospitable city on the banks of the Dniester River. Every year it becomes more elegant and more comfortable as for the citizens as well as for the guests of the region. The city pays attention to improving the appearance of buildings and streets and infrastructure development, new places appeared recently for recreation for adults and children and for sports. Tiraspol is a city always open for tourism and travel. Lunch in the atmospheric cafe "Stolovka USSR", in the Soviet style. Lunch is optional, at the request of the guests.

5.00We had a very nice daytrip with our very friendly and informative guide Nicolai. Picked up as agreed in Chisinau and taken through Bender and downtown Tiraspol as well as a quick visit to a smaller village. Nicolai informed about everything; not only the sights, but also about life in both places. We were in very good company all day long and had a delicious traditional meal all together in a timecapsule in Bender. Nicolai is a very talented guide and a huge source of knowledge about the area and its history as well as a very nice person. We can only recommend both the trip and our guide. Thank you, Nicolai!

5.00I really enjoyed this tour. My guide Nicolai was well organised and flexible regarding my interests. This tour is not so much about what you see, but more about the stories around it. If I would have visited the places without the explanations, it would have been a lot less impressive. Hearing why people are missing the good old times of the USSR gives you a different perspective on things, which was very interesting.

5.00Our guide Nicolai spoke excellent English, very attent and shared a lot of information with us. We felt we saw more than what we expected to see and he gave us explanation in each places. The route was very efficient and we got to tast "Soviet canteen" for lunch and some fruits from the local market. It was a memorable day. Thank you very much Nicolai!!

5.00This was a great tour! We usually explore places on our own, but to go to Transnistria we needed a guide who knows Russian. I am very glad that we chose this tour because the guide told us a lot of interesting things about Transnistria. In addition, we also stopped at the Bendery fortress before going to Tiraspol, which I really liked. Otherwise, I really liked the good organization and development of the trip!

The whole day is very customisable to what you find interesting, and the guide went out of his way to make it more special for us. We learnt so much about the local culture and mentality, and had some fantastic conversations with our guide during the whole day! We highly recommend this tour, don‘t miss it!
