The trip by plane is very short of about 45 minutes, however making this route by land allows you to dive into the depths of the mountain where there is snow, rocks, sand and water in the river. It’s you and the incredibleness of nature, makes us feel so small and grateful to be alive.

What To Expect
This international route links the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean through a 3 kilometer long tunnel linking the two countries. Between Mendoza (Argentina) and Santiago (Chile) we have 380 kilometers away which is a 5 hour journey plus Customs time. It also offers different stops in tourist areas of Argentina such as Uspallata, Puente del Inca and the Mirador del Cerro Aconcagua (The highest mountain in all of America 6961 meters above sea level) and a must stop is on the route of the snails on the side of Chile. It is a journey where the river accompanies the international route, and on the other side of the route we have the train tracks that were abandoned in the nineties and has all its charm. Note: in winter time the hours of movement are usually restricted to daytime hours and are subject to changes in weather conditions.

5.00We had a wonderful experience with Mauricio! We initially hired him just for an airport transfer, but his service was excellent so we booked several more trips with him throughout the week. He was always on time and had a smile on his face, and also ensuring you were always comfortable for your trip. We enjoyed learning about the history of the Mendoza region during our trips with him, and we would not hesitate to book with him again if we returned to the area. If English is your preferred language, he speaks excellent English and is a great communicator to make sure everything is smooth and on time.
