Yaxha

Yaxha was a Mayan city of great importance for the Mayan World, it is surrounded by two lagoons and in the middle of dense vegetation. Visitors can walk along the paths that lead to plazas, ceremonial centers and temples. You will regularly be able to observe the flora and fauna of the place, which includes monkeys, coatis, etc.

Malecon Isla De Flores

On the island of Flores you can walk through its streets or its boardwalk and observe the typical architecture of the region and preserved from the time when its first inhabitants arrived. On your route you will find restaurants, cafes, bars and craft stores.

After a bus tour, we will arrive at the Sayajche pier, where we will take a motor boat that will take us along the La Pasión River. During the tour you will most likely be able to observe the flora and species of birds, crocodiles and turtles of the region.

Passion River (rio La Pasion)

The La Pasión River is a 345 km river that runs through northern Guatemala, mainly in the department of Petén. The river originates in the mountains of northern Alta Verapaz, under the name of the Chajmaic River, then changes to the Sebol River and finally becomes the La Pasión River. It flows west until it joins the Salinas River to form the Usumacinta River, which flows into the Gulf of Mexico. The La Pasión River basin is home to several important Mayan archaeological sites. The river and its surroundings are home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including crocodiles, iguanas, howler monkeys and numerous species of birds and fish. The river is an important transportation route for local communities. Visiting the La Pasión River allows you to enjoy the nature, history and culture of Guatemala in a unique and beautiful setting.

Tikal National Park

Tikal is the main reason why most tourists visit Guatemala. It is the most relevant archaeological site that has been discovered and restored from the Mayan culture. It was declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It is located within the jungle of the Maya Biosphere. During your tour along the trails, a guide will accompany you and tell you the history of the Mayan plazas, temples and structures, as well as the names of the flora and fauna that you see in their natural state.
