5.00I joined a 2 days, 1 night hiking trip in Lembah Lohe, Sulawesi, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable adventures I’ve ever had! The trail took us through dense tropical forests, peaceful valleys, and refreshing rivers. The scenery constantly changed — from misty mountain views to open grasslands filled with the sounds of birds and cicadas. Our local guides were fantastic — friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about the plants, wildlife, and local culture. They made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the trek. The camping spot by the river was stunning, with crystal-clear water perfect for a quick dip after a long day of hiking. At night, we enjoyed a simple campfire dinner under a sky full of stars — truly magical. It’s not an easy hike, but it’s absolutely worth it for anyone who loves nature and wants to explore an untouched side of Sulawesi. Highly recommended for adventurers looking for something authentic and off the beaten path!
