Armenian Alphabet Monument

The Monument of the Armenian Alphabet was built in 2005 in honor of the 1600th anniversary of the creation the national Armenian alphabet by Mesrop Mashtots. Located in an open area, on the road to Mount Aragats, in the Aragatsotn region. Lori Castle

The medieval Lori fortress is located near the city Stepanavan, in the Lori region. Since the 10th century, for many centuries it defended the surrounding villages and was an outpost of that region, after which it was destroyed in the 13th century by the Mongol-Tatar invasion. After the invasion, the people gradually left the fortress and in the end remained only the ruins. Inside are interesting ruins of an ancient defensive structure that you will have the opportunity to research.
