If you’re looking for an affordable and cozy place to stay in Tromsø, I highly recommend Boukersen Heim! The location is perfect—it has an amazing view of the sea, it's close to public transport, and just a short trip to the city center. Super convenient! The hostel itself has everything you need—clean and comfortable rooms, a spacious and cozy living area, and a well-equipped kitchen if you want to cook. The best part? The friendly atmosphere! The staff are super nice and helpful, and you’ll probably meet Joe, the cutest little hostel cat, who makes the place feel even more like home. 🐱❤️ One of my favorite things was just chilling at the dining table, enjoying the insane view of the snowy mountains and the sea—absolutely breathtaking. Boukersen Heim also offers full-package stays with different tours, including their Northern Lights chase, which my girlfriend and I joined. Our guide, Alba, was amazing—He knew exactly where to go, and we got to see the aurora so clearly! Such a magical experience—Aurora baby! 💚✨ And if you stay here, definitely take the time to chat with the staff—they’re super friendly and they will give you the best tips for getting around Tromsø, especially with public transport.
