Not too bad but I would not recommend to do it if you are tired. The food was ok. Didn’t see northern lights as it was cloudy.

The boat is very nice and the crew very good!. It was our turn one night that there were no Northern Lights and then the sailing did not make much sense in itself.

Really enjoyed this cruise!! The team on the 27th Jan were fantastic and made this a very memorable experience. We were very lucky to see the northern lights as it was a clear night; the boat travelled just north of the Tromso island where we could see them. The boat does not go hunting for them, so it is luck if you can see them on the night - if you want a guarantee to see them booking an alternative tour may be better. The crew was very friendly and helpful - there was a small presentation given on Norway and the Arctic Circle which was really interesting. They were also very happy to take pictures of everyone which was great. The food was really nice, albeit portions could have been a bit bigger. I actually booked the Electric Northern Lights Cruise, but they contacted me the day before to ask if we wanted to join this cruise with no extra cost! They then sent me the new ticket straight away and were very organised. Highly recommend for an evening cruise in Tromso!

Dinner cruise wasn’t bad, staff were informative and we saw the aurora through the time on board from the big viewing deck. A definite plus but there’s no guarantee of that. Staff were friendly and offered to take photos of guests with the lights above. The food was tasty but the portions were very meagre. Dietary requirements were catered for thankfully. Bottle of French wine was £60 (one of 2 choices). We sat downstairs on lower deck and it was warmer. Guests upstairs would be cold due to the door to the viewing deck being opened so many times. It was enjoyable but I wouldn’t highly rate it. The music being played was soothing though.

Honestly, I did not like this cruise and felt it was a waste of money. We paid close to $400 ISD. only to go about a mile to a mile and a half into the bay. We had to purchase wine separately, which I understand, but the food was not up to the par. The fish dish was very basic with mediocre plating. We were all hoping and expecting to see the Northern Lights, but the experience was nothing like what was advertised. I would not recommend this cruise—please don’t waste your money. That said, the crew was very polite and genuinely nice.

Dinner was very pleasant, the food very good (we were surprised by its quality) and we were lucky enough to see auroras, although much more subdued than on land in dark conditions. The boat is not far from the city, so there is a lot of light pollution, if the idea is to enjoy the auroras, there are better options

A great experience. The best guides (who even made the safety briefing fun to listen which meant we all paid attention). The 3 course meal was just right, beautifully presented. There was a welcome drink and a bar serving hot and cold drinks. The guides were very friendly and informative and despite the forecast being poor for seeing the lights they spotted something threads and hot is all outside so when there was a break in the clouds the aurora appeared. The electric boat is so nice and quiet which adds to the whole experience.

Very professional and fun team, we had so much fun and learned a lot, there was a lot of good information between the gears, thank you for that 🩷 the aurora borealis that evening (11 January) were AMAZING 🙏
