What To Expect
Experience the Norwegian Way of Winter Join us for an unforgettable cross-country skiing adventure on Tromsø's snowy trails, where you’ll discover the beauty of Norway's winter landscape and learn the basics of "langrenn," a sport close to the hearts of Norwegians. This 2.5- to 3-hour session includes everything from instruction to practice, with time set aside to pause and enjoy the incredible surroundings. Meet & Gear Up: Arrive at Charlottenlund Aktivitetspark for free parking, or take bus 26 to Skoglyst. We’ll fit you with skis, poles, and boots. Please provide your shoe size (up to size 47). Basic Techniques: Learn balance, glide, and uphill/downhill movements, with step-by-step guidance to help you feel confident. Explore & Sightsee: We’ll ski through trails with stunning viewpoints over Tromsø's snowy forests and mountains. Capture photos along the way! Break & Refresh: Enjoy a warm toddy and Norwegian sweet treats at a scenic rest spot, soaking in the tranquil surroundings. By the end, you’ll have new skills, beautiful photos, and an authentic taste of Norwegian winter culture!

5.00Had an excellent time out in the wild with our instructor, Marial (hope I’m spelling that right). She was extremely knowledgeable and funny which made the adventure more enjoyable. We were three out of a five-person group, and Marial was very patient and was able to spend one-on-one time with all of us. We all felt much more confident by the end of the course and I would recommend this to anyone who wants a no-pressure, and fun approach to skiing.

Everything was explained very well, they were very caring and incredibly dedicated, the two are very open, funny and at the same time extremely professional. I can highly recommend you all out there to book these activities with the two of you. We liked it very much, everything was great , funny and well organized, and everyone was mega nice and friendly. We felt very comfortable and learned a lot 💯

Being on the ski trail was a great experience, not just for the joy of being out in nature on the snow, but seeing the diverse spectrum of locals out enjoying the trail for recreation or as their preferred mode of transport, I feel like this experience expanded my cultural perspective.
