This Northern Lights chase is designed for travelers who want to experience an authentic Arctic evening, away from the crowds of large tourist groups. As this is a small-group tour (maximum 8 participants), we can fully enjoy the silence and magic of the Arctic night. Throughout the journey, I will share in-depth insights into the Northern Lights, local culture, and the history of the region, adding a rich cultural dimension to the experience beyond the visual spectacle. Professional photos are included, allowing you to take home genuine, high-quality memories of your adventure. A perfect tour for those seeking emotion, knowledge, and a close connection with the Arctic winter.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Minimum age: 14 years. Arctic nights can be demanding, and the presence of young children may affect the comfort of both the family and the group.
Although I will provide thermal suits suitable for Arctic temperatures, I strongly recommend bringing your own basic winter clothing.
Please bring your passport, as it may be necessary to cross the border into Finland during the tour.
To ensure a comfortable environment for all participants, smoking is not permitted at any time during the tour, including during breaks outside the vehicle. Even a brief cigarette outdoors can leave a strong smell on jackets and gloves, which may cause significant discomfort to other guests when returning to the minivan.
Tromso
To get the best view of the Northern Lights, we need to leave the light pollution of Tromsø and dive into the wild nature of the Arctic. The direction we'll take depends on the evening's weather: clouds can hide the Northern Lights, so our priority will be to find clear skies. If we have to, we might even cross the border into Finland!
Troms
Once we've found the perfect spot, we'll pick a cozy location, away from other tours and artificial lights. Waiting is part of the experience: the Northern Lights can appear after a few minutes or after a couple of hours. To make the wait more pleasant, we'll light a bonfire, enjoy homemade soup, cookies, and hot chocolate, and I'll tell you all the secrets of this natural spectacle. Winter temperatures can range from +5°C to -30°C, so I'll provide thermal suits for all participants. If you have a camera, I'll teach you how to set it up to best capture the Northern Lights. Plus, I'll take professional photos for you, so you can keep a lasting memory of this magical night.
