Join Boukersen Heim, a warm and family-run company in Tromsø, for a true Northern Lights experience. With a maximum of 12 guests, we serve reindeer sausages around campfire, homemade vegan chai tea. And with a touch of a passionate guide, this tour focuses on a real arctic experience, personal connection, comfort, and high chances of seeing the Aurora.
Your guide will use weather forecasts, local knowledge, and flexibility to chase the clearest skies. We take you far away from the city lights — sometimes all the way to the Finnish border if needed.
We serve local made reindeer sausages for a lifetime experience, with vegan option, hot drinks, and a cozy atmosphere around the fire. We help guests with photography so you can return home with beautiful memories.
This is not a big-bus tour, but a personal, authentic experience designed to make you feel taken care of from start to finish.

5.00Despite rather bad weather conditions, the guide was able to find a gap in the clouds and we saw the nothern lights! The guide Alba was very talented, not only in navigating based on forecasts and weather cameras, but also making the camp and the camp fire where we had sausages and warm drinks. It was a magic night!

5.00The service, the attention and the experience hunting northern lights was amazing. Ascanio Alba was the best during this tour and the girl driver. Obviously, this depends on weather and its sudden change. The attitude of the group was amazing too. We were able to see several Auroras, eat hot dogs under the fire and drink hot chocolate. Best of experience in my life. I appreciate the explanations about my questions too. So, I strongly recommend this tour.

5.00The sky was covered with clouds, and all the forecasts for the day proved wrong. He kept chasing it, changing locations for the Aurora, and the universe listened! The miracle happened after a long wait. Thanks to Alba for all the efforts. He is a super supportive and knowledgeable person.

5.00What an amazing trip. With nature outside of our control it wasn’t looking too promising at first that we would see the Northern Lights due to the clouds, however, persistence paid off and we were treated to a spectacular show. Highly recommend. Thank you for such a memorable trip!

5.00Boukersen Heim is a lovely cozy budget place to stay in Tromso. They also provide tours such as Aurora chasing, Fjords sightseeing etc. and we had a wonderful experience with them. The hosts Martin and Thia are very kind and helpful. Our tour guide Alba is an amazing human being and went out of the way in providing us with a lovely Aurora sightseeing experience. Highly recommend touring with them if you ever visit Tromso!!!

5.00First off, the two guys that go along with us for the tour are awesome. I feel bad for blanking on the names but both the guide and the driver were clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about the northern lights, and Norway as a whole. The reason why I titled this patience is a virtue is because we didn’t see anything at the beginning of the night. It was very windy and cold. After eating some reindeer sausages, we moved to a clearer and less windy area. We saw the lights but they were very dim. The stars were amazing though. And on our way back to Tromsø, there was an explosion of light in the sky. We pulled over and got out and the lights felt like there were on the ground in front of you. So bright and vibrant and dancing around the sky. I totally reccomend this experience. Seeing the lights isn’t guaranteed but with a positive attitude, good weather conditions, and a little bit of luck, you will see amazing things

5.00Great experience, The team is very prepared and professional, Every night they decide according to the weather conditions. They took us by bus to a cloud-free place in the middle of nature and we saw an exciting sight. We made a bonfire and roasted reindeer sausages. Recommended!
